31930. Snack: maize bread, curd, garlic, aronia juice
31931. The party divided into two groups. One, of Metod and Manč in the picture, was to finish the exploration of the chimney above the Art's syphon in Najdena jama cave and collect the equipment left there during previous excursions. The ropes and ladders, if left in place, would be damaged or destroyed by the upcoming high autumn waters.
31938. Good five hours later, the chimney had no horizontal continuation, Metod and Manč returned in cave fatigues of slightly different colour and texture.

31932. As all the depots in the cave were full, the material left at Ground zero had to be hauled up 12 m high (and some 10 meters far in horizontal projection). In the picture: Žan hauling up the bucket which kept jamming all the way up through the narrow shaft.
31934. Ile (and Klok, not shown) managed to complete the job, 74 buckets in all.
31935. Modrc on exit from the cave. At 13.30 Ground zero was cleared, further digging could resume.

31940. A senior member of the team switched from his Subaru Legacy boxer diesel which proved to have a particularly unrewarding maintenance issues to this BMW X1 all-wheel drive diesel. Mint-condition car, year 2010, 150.000 km, 15.000 euros.

31943. Gregor grabbed an empty bucket, just given to him by the author, to pass him down to Marjan at the excavation front.

31948. ... who emptied it in the only chamber with standing height. It now serves as a temporary depot.
