33449. Marina baked a very special filled pumpkin - in the picture is what was left of it after the late arrival of the writer of these lines.
33448. Žan broght a 6 W bulb of many small LED squares, which, powered by a car battery over a 12 V to 220 V converter, gave surprisingly good illumination. In the picture - Brajko, Marjan, Žan, Andrej, Gregor, Marina and Marko around the table.
33450. Metod and Ile, after a hearty meal and a good drink.
33451. Southwestern corner of the gazebo is now a nice wall of firewood.
33469. A rather inconspicuous hole below the western side of the monumental 50-m high wall of the cave's northern entrance, at a place where the surface vegetation gives way to lychens, opens a passage to Najdena jama cave. It is over 40 m long and was lastly dug by Miran Nagode from Logatec. The connection, if dug through, would make a system out of the two already magnificent caves. But as the reader will be able to convince himself from what follows, it will be no pleasant task. The passage resembles high-mountain caves, only the walls and the boulders are not so sharp and suit-cutting. Air current was strong all the way through.
33470. The first squeeze, and a rather nasty one at that, is a meter and a half from the entrance. Brajko - happy, already on the other side, view in.
33471. Pushing your bones through a narrow meander, taking care not to slide down, is what follows.
33472. Brajko at the end of the meander
33473. Current excavation end, already entangled in dripstone. The stone, thrown into the dark, falls into a water pool some meter and a half deeper. Surface of this water is way (several m) above the bottom of the previous meander.
33474. Brajko in a crack that leads towards the surface, to Vranja jama collapse
33479. In places the vertical crack of the meander levels to a gentler slope ...
33478. ... here with Brajko for measure.
33480. 5 m below the middle meander another meager tunnel ends in the collapse. The passage down ...
33481. ... is a descent among large boulders and the wall.
33482. The entrance squeeze, here a view out, has to be tackled legs-first.
33484. View of the passage entrance from outside, with a shadow over Brajko, which turned out to be ...
33483. ... a rather late Klok, who hurried enough here to position himself properly in the picture before the self-timer's short span ran out.
33486. Boni (right) and Garmin (left), head to toe cavers, but also a family man and a family man to be, ready for action, with a knife that sliced ...
33485. ... all this multicolor bread, baked by Laverdist.
