37042. A snack: cooked beans, garlic, bread, black cumin oil, apricot and pear jam, hot water with aronia juice. Baked polenta omelette with crispy pork cracklings, brought by Tone, was added to the picture purely for aesthetic purposes.
37047. Ičo in action at the firewood log splitting - axe in mid air ...
37048. ... as it hit the log ...
37049. ... to split it into two
37043. Ičo, the only professional artist of the team, also provided a wooden door bell. Here its handle, held by Ile, is seen in idle (horizontal) position ...
37045. ... so that the woodpecker on the inner side of the wall has his bill lifted from the wooden semi-cylinder.
37044. As Ile turned the handle down ...
37046. ... the cord, connected to the handle forced the woodpecker to make a series of loud bangs to the wood.
37051. A spring storm broke the top of a small beech tree at the northwestern cottage corner. It disturbed the uninterrupted greenery all around and Klok decided to remove it. The first attempt, to cut the dry part away with Ičo's saw mounted on top of a long stick, failed. Ile's advice, to attach a rope to the dry branch (as depicted here) and pull it down, helped better and in no time the branch was there no more.
37052. Ile is guiding Žan where to fix the roof appendix supporting board for perfect level.
37053. Marjan with a trio of loaded buckets which he will carry to the lower depot, 15 m away and 5 m higher.
37058. Tone, a caver from Ribnica and a friend of Ile, was carrying buckets from Manč to Marjan. Not as far and high but in a very narrow and slippery tunnel.
37056. Manč was digging at the collapse bottom, and placed a few additional supports where required and possible. Here he is seen with the last bucket of today ...
37057. ... and in the final chamber, at the side and below the collapse.
37068. View to the collapse from the access tunnel
37061. The collapse is supported by wooden rods and boards - view up from the bottom.

37067. Cave continuation, and the direction of digging, is along the right (northern) side wall - picture center.
37069. Tone. His diligence and relentlessness helped make today's Radošca a success.
37070. Instead of lunch: baked hake fish, garlic, bread, apricot and pear jam, oatmeal cookies, hot water with aronia juice

37072. Mare during his snack time, quite close ...
37073. ... and in a wider setting, where Žan, Manč and Ile were adding finishing touches to the roof appendix which will cover two new firewood columns.
37074. Parasol mushrooms, Macrolepiota procera, dežnikarice in Slovenian sprang out of the soil after the rainy Monday and Tuesday in many, many places. This basket was collected by Mare, ...
37079. ... while the box, depicted here, was picked by Marjan, a stone's throw to the north-northeast of the village.
37075. Another basket, of figs and tomatoes, from Mare's estate in Pristava near Kazlje
37076. Manč, the firewood stack builder
37078. A bouquet of hart's-tongue, Asplenium scolopendrium, jelenov jezik in Slovenian, at the trailside. Cooler area on the outer side of the cave collapse is its good habitat.
