54801. The excursion was initially intended to test the use of two two-meter-long hazel rods, joined into one with the help of a half-meter-long aluminum tube. Such a long rod would have a LED floodlight on top, and would be held upright on the ground by a pyramid of stones. It would illuminate very high stalagmites, as found, for instance, in Lipiška jama. However, not all the components were ready, and the author also had not yet completely healed a minor injury from the previous excursion, so the visit to Najdena jama had to be carried out, so to speak, gently. He had long been tempted by Ičo's tunnel, which is not particularly rich in photographic motifs, but towards the end, just before the junction with Piparji tunnel, it gets very colorful and full of vivid shapes. Cavers, including the author, always rush through it on the way to some other destination in the cave, and this time the tunnel might finally get proper attention. But when the author stopped at this balcony above the western side of Šerko Tunnel, and at the Maria Theresa's Bosom below, it was already clear that the more appropriate title for the excursion would be "From Šerko Tunnel to Michler's Fountain".

54803. Maria Theresa's Bosom in Šerko Hall. At the top is a small stalagmite, illuminated from the side.

54807. Rock outcrop above the passage past Šerko Fountain. In the background is a tunnel, where the cave continues south.

54806. The flowstone covered northern wall above the bottom of the hall

54805. A depression at the top of the flowstone heap, with a rather modest water jet from the chimney

54810. View from the tunnel, which leads to the Hall above Michler Fountain and to Radešček Passage, to the bottom of Šerko's Hall.

54813. View back along the tunnel, towards Šerko Fountain

54817. In the rock knife that protrudes downward from the west wall of the tunnel, there is this opening, in the shape of a heart, just above the bottom of the tunnel and the end of the knife. At its widest point it is 15.5 cm wide.

54818. A thin stalagmite that has grown to the ceiling, just before the tunnel turns into the Hall above Michler's Fountain. In the photo, the author's right foot is already in this hall.

54820. Entrance to the cave with a backpack and four hazel sticks, which helped to illuminate the cave, and in addition, they were also helpful when walking up and down the steep slope in Šerko's Tunnel, tied together. Shortly before six in the afternoon, it was already pitch dark.
