Radošca / Radoshitza Cave, Day 17
Home, Sweet Home

November 10, 2016, 22 pictures

Most images are approximately 683 x 1024 pixels in size, numbers in front of picture descriptions are serial numbers of the original photo files. Event participants who all contributed to the making of these pictures and persons, mentioned in descriptions: Janez Kanoni - Žan, Metod Di Batista, Gregor Pintar - Stari, Marjan Baričič, Rok Brajkovič - Brajko, Marjan Juvan - Manč, Marko Vogrič - Mare, Riko and Rok Grecs, Andrej - Ejč and Jasna Ramor, Petra Štrigl Žumer. Janez Ileršič - Ile also called, a little later because of wrist injury earlier in the day. He stumbled, his ankle bent when it should not, and to ease the fall he tried to catch himself. The right wrist was not under a proper angle and was consequently damaged. Ile however is no pussy, came to Članska vas and did not consider a visit to the ER service. Jure thought otherwise but was diplomatic enough to explain Ile his own, similar experience, when a colleague at work years ago, a colleague Jure very much disliked, persuaded him, it took quite some time and effort, into going to ER after an elbow injury. Had he come a few hours later, the infection which developed would have eaten his elbow cartilage to such extent that his elbow would remain stiff (unbendable) to the end of his life. Ile did not need a word more and departed to Ljubljana trauma clinic immediately.

Članska vas Village at Najdena jama Cave

33092. Žan is negotiating a tricky way to the back of the gazeebo with his tractor. He brought an old stove, long ago destined for the scrapyard as it was, during big floods on Planinsko polje valley years ago, submerged 4 m below the water and therefore rusty beyond any normal house use.

33094. Žan, helped by Jure, is hammering a transparent foil supporting lath into the ground with a large axe - no sledge hammer was at hand.
