It was a calm late afternoon - earlier in the day Članska vas had a small group of visitors, could be guests of Mare, the stove was humming vividly as they still slept in the morning - Žan just departed home after his regular checkup (to see) that everything is at it should be. In the picture: view of the shelter and its new Tegola Canadese Eco roof from the west, off the top of Žan's 2 meter A type metal ladder.

37565. The slope to the south of Članska vas is full of dry spruce branches, leftovers of the logging that followed the February 2014 disastrous sleet. Spruces were cut and taken away by the forest machinery, branches that were cut off in the process were left to the elements. So a prudent and careful step of the casual passer-by is called for, or the leg will penetrate the surface deeper into the thorny interior than one could expect ... In the picture: dry spruce "bones" against the backdrop of dry forest undergrowth.
