38417. The train to Brussels airport is a spacious and comfortable one - here is the photographer's luggage in the opposite compartment. The only snag was that all the manned ticket booths are closed at night, only the vending machines are available. And they do not accept cash, just credit cards. And if you are not sure about the card's PIN number, it can be a problem. To his luck the most likely number worked.

38419. Train station exit at the airport, view from the airport side. It is possible to board the train without the ticket, but: No valid ticket - no exit.
38420. The train station is at the groundfloor level of the airport, the Departures plateau is on the second floor. In the picture: photographer's suitcase and the bag with the hat (and some food) at the entrance to the second floor. The sheet metal pitons prevent the pasengers to move between floors with airport luggage trolleys.
