39199. Marjan, Žan, Gregor and Metod - Žan is explaining the marvel of drones - at the opening of the 2018 Winter Olympic games in Pyeongchang an army of 1218 drones was applied for the best celestial light show to date.

39202. ... and on the way to Radošca cave. Here only Gregor has a shovel, for eventual snow trail corrections and for possible intervention at the cave entrance.
39203. The entrance was in deep snow.
39204. Žan immediately ...
39205. ... lowered the thermometer sensor deeper into the entrance for better exposure.
39206. In the end the figure settled at 6.2 degrees C, not bad as the outer temperature was considerably sub-zero.
39207. Žan and Marjan - Would we go in and dig?
39208. The entrance was not frozen, but in the end only Metod ventured inside about an hour later, not to dig but to measure the temperature at the excavation site bottom. It was 7.8 degrees C (and 7.4 degrees at the entrance).
39210. The senior member of the team, Jurij published a book about his father Pavel Kunaver, one of the first DZRJL members (joined soon after the society was founded in 1910). The project took many years to see the light of day, but was well worth the wait, as attested by the above review, published by Samo Rugelj in Vikend (issue 1317), weekly supplement of the leading Slovenian daily, Delo (The publication herein is by courtesy of Samo Rugelj).
39211. It was cold, the weather was heavily overcast but the sun (a good description of it would be zubato sunce in Serbian) nevertheless peeked through, if not for warmth, then at least for lifting the spirits, for good impression.
39212. The February wind storm brought down many spruces of the few which still remained in the Lanski vrh forest after the February 2014 sleet and the following onslaught of spruce bark beetle. One happened to fall over the southern entrance of Skednena jama cave. The photographer visited the cave often, since 1966, but never such a sight opened to him.
39213. View of the entrance from the inside - Sandi is climbing in over the spruce tree top branches.
