40327. Yeti also called at Članska vas - here he is seen talking to Gregor over the cave field phone. The big news was that Mič and Yeti are about to embark on a kayaking trip from Prevlaka to Solkan (over 750 km at sea) this June, on the day of the Battle at Sisak. The only snag is that they still have not found a helping hand to drive the car back home. Mare was curious how they with deal with the Coast Guard as it is next to impossible to paddle by kayak no further out than the allowed limit of 500 m from the coastline all the way. Yeti answered that the Coast Guard shows respect to serious seafaring people - they approach the two lonely kayakers, observe their pro-style life jackets, large sun-protecting hats, oversized kayaks and after trailing them for a while to check that they are OK, paddling in their long-distance pace, leave them to attend to other duties.
40328. Marjan decided to join the digging team when the need for bucket duty will arise - here with Ižanc, Ile, Yeti and Mare at the outer table.

40336. ... here with Metod and his power hammer - the legs and boots lower left and right are the photographer's. At the end of the day Manč and Metod decided to stop digging on the left but to do so on the right side, just below the Metod's left boot. The decision was correct - after many days of digging in the blind a crack opened up with a good air current. It solved the painful question in which direction to move on.

40338. A black millipede, Cylindroiulus sp., železna kačica in Slovenian, and a carabus beetle on the wall below the entrance shaft. The photographer managed to bring the beetle out of the cave in his rubber-gloved fist without hurting it.
40339. Mare cooked a chicken paprikash in the morning and brought it in a thermos container, now it's lunch time.
