Vladimir Levašov has a lot of credit for the making of the photos, Rok Brajkovič - Brajko, and Jože
Stražišar from Dolenja vas also participated, as well as France Šusteršič from Laze. Many years ago
he, in the company of Renato Verbovšek - Rene, Janez Kanoni - Žan and probably someone else, too, took part
in the excursion to this rarely visited part of the cave.
The aim of the excursion was to make a photo report of two less visited tunnels: Mrzli rov
(Cold Tunnel), highly praised by Jože, and Gicipistični rov, which was described by France. The person in the
red overalls in the photos is Vladimir, and guy in dark green is the author. The photos with the author
were made using remote control and a self-timer.

53900. View through the Vodni rov (Water tunnel) entrance towards the collapse doline Velika jama
53901. View from the cave entrance up the collapse doline Zadnja jama
53902. View from the Entrance Hall to the beginning of the Water Tunnel
53904. The Gicipi tunnel, which according to France is in the right (western) wall of Vodni rov between Osja jama (Wasp Cave) and Brzice (the Rapids), a meter above the water, was found quite quickly. But the entrance was higher, good four meters of not so easy climb. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the visit without adequate equipment and, apart from Vladimir, in a slightly underpowered team. We continued our journey further upstream via Brzice and Pristan. When we carried the boat across the rocks to the next lake for the second time, and the Cold Tunnel was nearing, only Vladimir and the author proceeded, in one small boat. Brajko, who did not have a caving suit - the one the author brought was unfortunately two sizes too tight - decided that he would not ascend the muddy river bank without one. He decided to stay and wait on the shore. Vladimir and the author sailed forward through the lowest part of the Water Tunnel, but missed the Cold Tunnel, which is right behind this shore. They sailed on to the end of the cave and took pictures on the way back. The photo depicts the view upstream of Water tunnel, shortly before its end, at the only suitable place to get off the boat, on the southern bank. The shelf above the water was barely wide enough for a tripod.
53907. The same motif, only in a vertical format, the lighting which also showed the stream bottom, and a boat along the other bank.
53908. Repeated shot, where the bottom of the stream is not illuminated from above the water, but just below the water level, from the boat.
53910. Rock outcrops at the end of shelf, view upstream
53905. View from the same shelf, downstream
53911. On return it was with a bit of luck that we found the Cold Tunnel, Vladimir noticed it. The climb up the muddy rocky slope was delicate, luckily there were a few handholds sticking out of the mud. After about six meters an easier passage without mud follows. In the photo - a view from the Cold Tunnel entrance to the Vater Tunnel, upstream, the left bank reflects in the water.
53912. From about the middle of the tunnel to the end, where there is a larger hall, which continues with a narrow stream of water, only Vladimir proceeded. The author decided to avoid further narrows in favor of a few photos, taken on return. The first is a view back into one of the halls before it narrows into a meander.
53913. View back down the hall with the flowstone curtain
53915. Both Vladimir and the author were very surprised by the curtain. Few are so picturesque, and the author has never seen such beautiful curls.
53917. A flowstone covered rock outcrop shortly after the start of the tunnel, view north (backwards, in the direction of the Water Tunnel)
53918. Brajko in the boat, before the last landing on return. It was his first visit of a water cave, and in the end he started to enjoy the sailing across the underground lakes.
