48010. View of the Vranja jama entrance from the access trail
48011. Kokotov rov entrance below the western side wall of Vranja jama (lower part of the shadow)
48012. Wide view of Vranja jama from the passage entrance ...
48013. ... and a wide view to the north east, up the Vranja jama collapse slope
48014. The first squeeze used to be right at the entrance. Koko was very slim and he widened his way through the narrow crack in the rock just as much as necessary. So, until Claudio widened the first three squeezes to normal human size in 2019, the first one was extremely selective. Just about half the people who intended to go through, managed to do it.
48015. View back through the second, keyhole-shaped squeeze. The author additionally widened it on this excursion, but it was well passable even before.
48016. The entire passage runs along a long, near-vertical fault in approximately south-north direction. The left side of the picture is a solid wall, while the right side is the wall of a large-house-sized rock which separated from the wall millenia ago, probably when the large Vranja jama hall ceiling collapsed and entrance we see today formed.
48017. View (about 4 m) down to the lower level of the passage, which is but blind. The constant air current, today from the cave out, is noticeable only in the upper level.
48018. The third squeeze, widened during the last, third 2019 digging excursion (center right).
48019. View into the fourth squeeze. It was not widened yet and after long consideration the author decided not to proceed alone. The way through was evident, rocks much polished by all the caving suits which already passed here through, but the way back was not clear to him. Would it be legs-forward, head-forward, sidewise?
48021. View of the third squeeze on the way back, center left, ...
48020. ... here also in a closer view
48022. Abstract, Mondrianesque shape setting, obtained by an accidental, unintended shot, caused by the over-sensitive phone camera shutter audio control
48023. View back towards the entrance through the much-widened first squeeze
48024. The path from the Kokotov rov entrance to the trail down the collapse of Vranja jama cave. Claudio and the team made it during the last, third digging excursion in the autumn 2019.
48025. View up the latter trail, close to the Vranja jama climbing wall
