From Tkalca jama to Radošca 2

11 and 12 January, 12 pictures

          Most images are approximately 683 times 1024 pixels in size, numbers in front of the picture descriptions are the serial numbers of the original photo files. Names of several cave parts were given by the author. Photos at Radošca 2 made with participation of Metod Di Batista, Marjan Baričič, Marjan Juvan - Manč, Andrej Puc - Fofr and Igor Maksim - Ičo.

51971. The flowstone covered wall on the west side of the hall


 

 


 
51972. Inscription on the wall, made on April 20, 1880, is nine years older than the oldest known to the author so far, from the end of the Connecting tunnel to Dvorana pod Dimnikom (Hall below the Chimney), dated 1889. There were three visitors, the first was probably Božo, the remaining iscriptions are difficult to decipher.

Radošca 2, January 12


 


 
51976. Manč dug at a depth of 17.5 meters, at the current bottom of the cave. On the left is the wall of the collapse doline, and on the right is the edge of a large rock that has broken off from the wall.


 

 


 
51977. A small stone flake in the shape of Africa, broken off from a larger stone, between mallet and chisel.


 

 


 
51979. A view of the tunnel dug between the wall and the collapse, towards the final step where Manč dug.


 

 


 
51980. Metod descends to the bottom to check the achievement of the day's work, the buckets have completed their task for today.
